ParrotFish Swim School in Sterling, VA offers the deepest and widest set of programs of swim school and swim lessons in all of northern Virginia. Our swimming programs are perfect for swimmers of all ages, sizes, shapes and talent levels


Youth Program
Our Youth swimming program follows the Dakus Swim Method, teaching progressive proficiency in the water. Each swim class teaches your child the skill he or she needs right now, before moving on to the next skill.

Adult Program
ParrotFish Swim School is not just for children! We boast a series of adult swim instruction available for all levels from beginning non-swimmer through advanced competitor.

 

Team ParrotFish
For swimmers who have mastered the fundamentals of swimming and are ready for the ultimate in competition!

Team ParrotFish is our exclusive, invitation-only swim team in northern VA that challenges swimmers to prepare for competition. We emphasize proper technique, eliminating dq’s, preparing for race day, and team training skills.

Team ParrotFish swim training is based on the same principles as Olympic and Collegiate team training, preparing your champion for a competitive swimming career!
Adult Triathlon & Masters Training
Coach Dan’s experience in coaching adults spans technical instruction from beginner learn-to-swim to Triathlon and Masters training. Coach Dan trained Ashby Harper, who swam the English Channel, and held clinics across the United States with Triathlete Mike Pigg and Masters Swimmer Lars Jorgensen.
Tuition/Fees

Standard Enrollment: $209 per session (eight 30-minute classes)

Team ParrotFish Enrollment: $260 per session on Team ParrotFish classes. (eight 60-minute classes)
Participation with Team ParrotFish is by Invitation Only.

 

Registration Information

Annual ParrotFish Membership dues are $20 per swimmer. This is a one-time fee charged each calendar year. Each family must also complete a ParrotFish Swim School Registration form and bring it to your first session.

 

Refund Policy

ParrotFish Swim School does not issue refunds for any of its programs. All unused funds paid to ParrotFish Swim School shall become credit for future use toward additional swimming lessons. This includes medical reasons, moving, or missed lessons. Credit is not transferable.

 

Payment

ParrotFish Swim School accepts payments prior to the start of each session. Payment must be made by the first lesson in each session. Please ensure you submit payment in the form of a check payable to ParrotFish Swim School, Inc. prior to the first lesson of your session. Payment is also accepted in person after your first swim assessment.

Discounts are offered for multi-session package purchases. Please ask Coach Dan for details.
